İbadet Vakti Pro — Delete My Data
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This page explains how users of the İbadet Vakti Pro app (developer: Muhammed Ali Koç) can request deletion of their data.
The app has no membership or account; identity information such as name, e-mail or phone number is not requested. For community features (Khatm Chain, suggestion box, etc.) an anonymous identifier is assigned to your device. You can have this identifier and the records linked to it deleted in one of the two ways below.
1. From inside the app (immediate)
- Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
- At the bottom, under the Legal heading, tap “Delete my data”.
- Confirm with “Delete permanently”.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
2. By e-mail
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot delete from inside the app, send an e-mail to appibadetvakti@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. So that we can find your record, include the display name you used in the Khatm Chain and the join code of the khatm you joined, if any. Your request will be fulfilled within 30 days at the latest and you will be informed.
Data that is deleted
- The anonymous identifier assigned to your device.
- The juz you took on in the Khatm Chain and the display name you entered (juz you are still reading are released; your name is removed from juz you have completed).
- Messages you sent to the Suggestion Box and your chat messages.
- All settings on the device, location selection, bookmarks, and worship and missed-prayer tracking records (when deleting from inside the app).
Data that is kept
- Aggregate counters that cannot be linked to a person (e.g. the total number of salawat recited together, the number of completed khatms) are not deleted because they contain no identifier.
- Subscription and payment records are not kept by us; they are stored in and managed from your App Store / Google Play account.
- The advertising ID is processed by Google AdMob; you can reset or turn it off in your device settings.
Once deletion is complete, no record that can be linked to you remains on our servers; no additional retention period applies.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR, you have the right to access your data and to request its correction and deletion. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
